Trinidad & Tobago Prime Minister Keith Rowley announced that the TTFA Home of Football was offered and will be used to accommodate COVID-19 patients, at no cost to the government. The facility was opened in November 2019 but was immediately closed down by the newly elected regime based not having the required property and fire approvals.

Gianni Infantino President of FIFA’S speech at TTFA’s Home of Football official Opening

This is a powerful gesture by the Prime Minister of Trinidad & Tobago and also FIFA and who is really in charge of footballing matters. In a strongly worded letter that somehow everyone has got their hands on from Fatma Samoura, the Secretary-General of FIFA it stated very clearly that Robert Hadad is the only legitimate leader of the TTFA that is recognized by FIFA and Concacaf and that matters regarding the Home of Football are to be handled by Hadad and not by William Wallace and his team. It is well documented that William Wallace is contesting FIFA’s normalization committee and only time will tell how this turns out as the fans of the game can only sit and observe. The facility was openly supported by President of FIFA Gianni Infantino.
